mmmmmmmmm Home sweet home.......

While today, returning from work it was pouring and the means of transport …be it bus, train or auto all were drenched...The spit and muck all over had come alive due to these rains (MERA BHARAT MAHAN) .... My colleague and I took a coffee and some chips for the journey of 40 minutes and tried to catch the first train available. In such a weather all the seats inside the compartment were wet due to the water dripping from the windowpane.....Unable to decide whether to sit or stand we managed to get a relatively dry seat and made ourselves comfortable and sipped our coffee....The train had hardly crossed two stations then it started to slow down ......I wondered if I would ever reach home ....At Dadar, a dozen college gals entered chattering excitedly as usual, but somehow today the noise was unbearable ...the reason not clear if it was the weather, the chatter, the dirty surroundings or the combination of it all. .I simply longed to reach home...I opened the door ....Besides the fact that unlike other days; I had left the home little messed up still I could feel the sense of relaxation , I knew I had reached my paradise ..All the while thinking, I quickly changed into a comfortable outfit; set the home right made a cup of my favourite lemon tea ……No wonder.....they say HOME SWEET HOME :). Watching the rain, I sat down in my verandah on a chair, enjoying the marvel of nature and enjoying my regular evening cuppa and humming the romantic old bollywood numbers :) rimjim ke tarane le ke aayi barsaat.........

  1. Depends on the mood one can enjoy rains outdoors too. I love getting drenched in the rain and for me that is the most enjoyable experience.
